My name is GAO, Yi. In Chinese, it writes 高 翼 (meaning: high wing).
I am currently an Associate Professor in the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology at Purdue University.
I completed Ph.D. in Technology at Purdue University, specializing in Aviation Management.
My primary research area is Air Transportation. My research covers the following topics:

Three papers in one month! Our groups latest work about flight on-time performance, lead by Jiayu Liu, ha been published on Journal of the Air Transport Research Society.
Dr. Gao and Jiayu Liu reviewed recent (since 2000) academic studies on frequent flyer programs, and the review has been published on Journal of Air Transport Management.
Our latest study on airport non-aeronautical revenues, led by Dr. Sen Wang and co-authored with Dr. Fecri Karanki, has been published on Journal of Transport Geography.
